International Business Outlook for 2023
What challenges must internationally focused businesses face in the upcoming year? What strategies and outlooks are important to consider when approaching these obstacles? For our first event of 2023 we will facilitate a panel of International Business professionals to explore the upcoming year and answer these questions. CEO and President of the German American Chamber of Commerce Midwest (Chicago), Mark Tomkins, is coming to Denver to present the results of the 2023 German American Business Outlook (GABO) survey, one of the most important economic indicators for international business. Samantha Tillner (GACC-CO) and Maggie Fouquet (IBCircle) will give some opening remarks followed by a moderated panel of company representatives that will share and discuss their strategies for the upcoming year.

Speaker Bios:
Mark Tomkins is the President and CEO at GACC Midwest. With over 17 years with GACC Midwest he brings a unique expertise to this event. He will also present the results of the 2023 German American Business Outlook (GABO) survey, one of the most important economic indicators for international business.
Samantha Tillner is the Executive Director of the German American Chamber of Commerce - Colorado Chapter. She is a native German with over 12 years of experience in the International Buisness circuit.
Maggie Fouquet Maggie is currently the President and CEO of International Business Circle, Inc. As a international businesswoman and entrepreneur she has founded and run several companies over the past 20 years.
Ski Milburn is the CEO at Eberspächer VAIREX, a manufacturer & supplier of fuel cell compressor systems to the global fuel cell industry. He has over 40 years of renewable energy, cleantech and now fuel cell industry experience.
Shawn Gardner is the managing director USA for the German based company Ritter Sport. He has over 25 years of experience in the sales and business sector.
Uschi Brunner is a Global Real Estate Advisor at Engel & Völkers, a German Real Estate company. Uschi expertly fosters relationships with her clients and other professionals in the industry. Staying well-informed of micro- and macro trends in the real estate market, she is able to offer her clients a professional and educated experience every step of the way.
Tim Kram is the Managing Director at Rommelag USA, Inc. He has worked with them for nearly 20 years and specialzes in blow/fill/seal packaging technology, Advanced aseptic processing, and pharmaceutical packaging. .
