International Business Outlook for 2024

What challenges must internationally focused businesses face in the upcoming year? What strategies and outlooks are important to consider when approaching these obstacles?

For our first event of 2024 we will bring back our successful International Business Outlook event at the Denver Country Club, featuring a panel of international professionals to elaborate on their expected challenges and opportunities for the coming year. CEO and President of the German American Chamber of Commerce Midwest (Chicago), Mark Tomkins, is coming to Denver to present the results of the 2024 German American Business Outlook (GABO) survey, one of the most important economic indicators for international business.

Furthermore, we will use this special occasion to celebrate and thank the outgoing GACC Colorado Chapter president Peter Einsle for his many years of service. He will officially handover the reins to the new president Barbara Wittmann at the event.

Speakers:

Mark Tomkins is the President and CEO at GACC Midwest. With over 18 years with GACC Midwest he brings a unique expertise to this event. He will also present the results of the 2024 German American Business Outlook (GABO) survey, one of the most important economic indicators for international business.

Peter Einsle has led the GACC Colorado Chapter for more than 11 years and is now handing over the reins to his successor Barbara Wittmann. Under the leadership of Peter, the GACC membership has reached its highest number in history, the Denver Christkindlmarket has seen phenomenal growth and success, and the collaboration with the GACC Midwest office in Chicago has been closer than ever. Peter has also navigated the GACC-CO successfully through challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic and several relocations of the Denver Christkindlmarket.

Barbara Wittmann is taking over as President of the GACC Colorado Chapter in 2024. Award-winning author and Digital Leadership Expert, Barbara excels in aligning People & Technology for global expansion. She is doing this through her company IT Zeitgeist as well as the recently founded Digital Wisdom Collective. In 2021, Barbara was voted by Industry Era Women Leaders Magazine as one of the Top 10 emerging Women Leaders. She is looking forward to leading the GACC-CO into the next chapter of new projects and new formats to support our amazing GACC-CO membership.
