Mark Reichenbacher

Mark Reichenbacher, President/CEO & GM Operations & Technology, has been with SWNA since he founded the North American subsidiary on October 1, 2012. Previously, he worked as an executive in various Tier 1 Automotive suppliers including Metaldyne, a former customer of Schwäbische Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH. Mark held management positions with responsibilities in Operations, Manufacturing, Program Management, Sales, and Supply Chain where he specified, purchased, and utilized SW Equipment amongst other machining, automation, and small assembly manufacturing systems. With his recruitment to SW ten years ago, he brought extensive commercial and technical experience from the customer viewpoint and the North American Manufacturing Industry on a whole.

Ben Carlson

Ben Carlson, Academy & Apprenticeship Manager, has been with SWNA since the launch of the SWNA Mechatronics Apprenticeship in the fall of 2019. With the help of SW Germany, Ben built the SWNA Apprenticeship from the ground up and began developing the future hands-on workforce for the North American subsidiary. In January 2022, Ben SWNA placed the rest of the Academy into Ben’s care alongside the Apprenticeship. Previously, Ben worked as a prototype and production machinist for an automotive and firearms manufacturer and was also a design engineer in the automotive and heavy truck industry. Ben is an enthusiastic advocate for the blue-collar world in industrial machinery and machine tool building. He has set out to influence and rejuvenate the love of the manufacturing trades, guide and coach our future generation, and teach them to be passionate about what they do.
