Transatlantic Climate Bridge: Urban Gardening Delegation
Growing a Sustainable Future for Chicago and Berlin
As part of the Transatlantic Climate Bridge initiative, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany Chicago, GACC Midwest is exploring a new series of partnerships with Chicago- and Berlin-based urban gardening collectives. The aim of this initiative is to forge new areas of transatlantic cooperation between Chicagoans and Berliners in the urban agriculture sector. Urban gardening is instrumental in helping cities combat climate change, improve food security, expand the circular economy, and promote sustainability education.
