The U.S. industrial and transportation sectors together account for about two-thirds of the nation’s energy-related CO2 emissions. Both the U.S. and Germany have made commitments to reach net-zero emissions by mid-century, which necessitates rapid decarbonization of major sectors of the global economy. GACC-CO is hosting a panel discussion in Denver, CO on September 5th at the German American Treffpunkt to raise awareness of the decarbonization strategies within the U.S. and discuss impacts of decarbonization on German-American relations. The agenda includes a short presentation to frame the critical barriers and opportunities to achieve net-zero, followed by a panel of GACC business members to discuss their thoughts and actions toward decarbonizing their company operations and supply chains.

Sign up to join this interesting panel discussion, followed by networking, and drinks with the German American business community.
