Current Trends and Challenges in Automotive Electronics Software Development and Validation

There has been a recently clear move away from electronic control units (ECU’s) in pursuit of more powerful “high-performance computers”. This poses challenges in the integration and testing of such systems at the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and raises the question: Why is Tesla ahead of competing OEMs in terms of vertical integration of their software?

Join us on November 20th to go behind-the-scenes at dSPACE Michigan. You will have the opportunity to hear from CEO Peter Waeltermann, who will introduce you to the company’s view on “software-defined vehicles”, the new trend in electronics architectures in the auto industry.

Key Takeaways

  • Explore the world of electronics development and testing
  • Tackle the challenges and unveil solutions in validating modern vehicle architectures
  • Discover how to adopt a solution-based approach to problem-solving within the context of E-mobility, Advanced Driver Assistant Systems (ADAS), and Autonomous Driving (AD).
  • Network with the German-American business community in Michigan.
