Virtual German-American Roundtable Discussion
The Future of Charging Technology & Infrastructure for EVs
GACC Midwest invites you to join the following public rountable on Friday, December 10th, 2021.
Electrification presents the biggest technological development in automotive power trains in decades. The German government has provided over €5 billion for R&D in this field since 2009, the Biden Administration just announced to increase the share of newly sold zero-emission vehicles on the US market to 50% by 2030, and there are billions of dollars in investments in the US infrastructure expected which might further boost this sector. The predicted broad adoption of EVs on both sides of the Atlantic will bring tremendous change, exciting opportunities, and significant challenges. Therefore, the automotive industry can benefit greatly from a transatlantic dialogue surrounding cooperation of policy, regulatory, technical and infrastructure measures to lead the way into a greener future of mobility.
